Welcome to Aaisa !
We are happy to welcome you all year round in our spacious, quiet and comfortable guest rooms. Aaisa is located in the heart of the medieval village of Besse : no car or long walk needed to find a restaurant. Summer and winter alike, it is the ideal starting point for many cultural and sports activities offered by our beautiful region. And if you are lacking inspiration, we will be happy to advise you.
Our house has five spacious rooms and a 3* duplex apartment, decorated according to modern standards with a touch of nostalgia. Our rooms are classified 3 stars by “Gites de France”, recommended by the “Guide du Routard” since 2012, by the “Petit Futé” since 2016 and classified first guest rooms on Trip Advisor thanks to our visitors : a big thank you to them… and to you very soon !

Linked to the history of France and royalty, the medieval and Renaissance city of Besse has long remained one of the strongholds of the Medicis. Pass the gate of the belfry, stroll through the cobbled streets of this jewel of the Sancy and allow yourself to be transported by history !

Oh, I forgot ! Breathe : you are at 1050 meters of altitude and the air is pure … as is the water in our fountains.
Who are we ?
After travelling a lot for our respective careers and our sports activities (climbing, hiking, mountain biking), we decided to search for a mountain village to put down our luggage in order to live and welcome guests. So… the search began.
Here we are criss-crossing the Alps, the Pyrénées Orientales and the Queyras, looking for a guest house for sale. A year and a half goes by and still nothing : too much work, not beautiful enough, too small, too isolated…
One evening, March 2019, we arrived in Besse where we often come to hike. Lya and Peter have set up this big and beautiful welcoming guest house which we made our “base camp” for the last 3 years. Comfortable rooms and bedding, copious breakfast and restaurants less than 30 meters away : the dream of every traveler wishing to recharge his battery !
“You know Lya, we feel at home when we stay at your place ! ” we said to our hostess on that famous evening. Smiling she answered us “that can be arranged“.
And that’s how it all started…
